Westgate School Council

At Westgate School we value the opinions of our pupils, and have set up the School Council to give our children a voice. Every 2 weeks our representatives meet up with Mrs. Penn to discuss current issues and projects. These children then seek the help of their classmates to come up with solutions that will benefit all of the children in school.

Mrs. Penn would like to give a special thank you to all the current representatives (pictured below) who have done a fantastic job over the past year.

We are proud to introduce our Westgate School Council representatives for 2018-2019:

Year 3 - Skye, Leo and Hubert

Year 4 - Sophie, Ethan and Rachel

Year 5 - Robert W, Robert J and Jayden

Year 6 - Chloe, Daniel and Junior

They have already been busy attending our local Pupil Parliament meeting, where they learnt about the global problem of plastic pollution. Our councillors are now thinking of ways to reduce plastic waste in our school. Keep up the good work!
