We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, flexible and enthusiastic person to undertake the role of Site Supervisor 1 / Cleaner as per the attached role profile.  


Westgate is a large school with 604 children on role split across 21 classrooms. The buildings comprise of the original school dating back to the 1990s, an extension housing our Year 5 & 6 children as well as a portacabin and extensive grounds.  


Keeping the facilities in excellent condition is an ongoing challenge and the successful candidate would join our existing cleaning & site management team who already do an amazing job.


The person appointed will be someone who takes pride in their work, is a team player and flexible in their approach to hours / duties. This vital role supports the staff and children by keeping the school beautifully clean, hygienic and ensuring it is a safe environment for all.

The role is a minimum of 10 hours per week, term time only plus 4 weeks additional ‘deep clean’ hours normally worked over the summer holidays and attracts the Foundation Living Wage rate currently £9.50 per hour.

Is seeking a vibrant & dynamic individual who can continue the exceptional running of the club from our long serving Manager who is embarking on a new chapter in their life. 

Westgate Wonders delivers outstanding breakfast and after school care to around 60 children per day of Westgate Primary School. The club is well established, enjoys full occupancy with a dedicated staff team providing a safe, stimulating and fun child-centred environment.  

The role is varied yet challenging and the right applicant will be able to balance the needs of the children with the successful running of the business. With a flexible and innovative approach, you will have an eye for detail as well as business development and build on the clubs existing reputation established by our current manager over many years.  

The role is term time only with the possibility of additional hours out of term time to undertake staff development, preparation for the new term & potentially delivering holiday clubs. This is subject to negotiation by the right applicant.
